THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE BRAND
Home Base Building Services is led by a husband-and-wife team Thom & Beth Hess, North Carolina residents for more than 20 years.
Thom has been in construction for more than 40 years. From tenant build-outs in New York City to custom homes in Arizona & Colorado — and more than 20 years as a licensed North Carolina General Contractor — he has seen projects at every scale and in every stage. His recent work as a building inspector and plans examiner only deepens that perspective.
Beth works alongside Thom from the first conversation forward. She listens closely, helps you articulate what you’ve been picturing, and keeps the bigger vision in view as decisions are made. She helps translate ideas into something real — without losing sight of why you’re building in the first place.
Together, they guide each project with care — balancing structure and vision, experience and attention.
